Limbo dancers - Kaniki & The Shades Of Black
Kaniki is the leading limbo dancer in the UK today! He grew up learning acrobatic skills from a very early age and it was not long before his skills attracted the attentions of European circus promoters, who brought him over to tour extensively.
Consequently, ‘The Kaniki Limbo Show’ is now well-renowned throughout Europe, Asia and the Gulf States.
Another first rate limbo show is available from Caribbean dance troupe ‘The Shades of Black.’ Whereas most other groups have leant more towards African and jazz styles, they have established the only true Caribbean Roots dance company in the country. In wonderful costumes, their Carnival dancing is a particular favourite with their audiences and really does evoke all the colour and passion of a Caribbean carnival.
