Cubana Bop is Britian's premier
Latin Jazz group. The Music is all jazz with a
strong Latin-Afro-Cuban flavor featuring originals
and classic jazz standards. Although Cubana Bop
play Latin Jazz as opposed to strict salsa, much
of the repertoire has a driving dance groove.
This enables the band to play in a variety of
situations from formal settings (concert auditoria)
to less formal ones (jazz clubs with their attentive
audiences and night clubs where the focus is on
dance)."
